Amazing outcome there, Katie!! I promised you to critique you once so here I go x3
-The Colouring: Respect to this traditional colouring style! Your old one was amazing already, but with the time you optimized the softness of your shading, there are no colouring mistakes and the structure between skin and hair is greatly shown with the thicker black next to the smooth orange ^_^
-The Main Motif: With pics like this I like Wendy more and more than I already do x) The black hair suits her perfectly and you still kept the original details in the design but in your own special way The shine of the eyes is outstanding so is the anthro design of her in your style ^w^
-The Background: I would have loved to see her in a pattern bg styled pic, suiting to her original colour sheme, but since you left the bg white the whole attention lies on her and the perspective of the pose, also a good choice^^
-Still Something To Improve?: The shine in her eyes is the thing I really like best in this pic It would be great if you continue showing different material also with the gold rings, with some brighter shine they would look perfect^^ After this, maybe try out to combine your main motifs with bgs or text use that could fit, maybe a seperated colouring of colour pencils and markers would be great to see^^ The last thing I have to add is just a little idea, since I love coloured outlines and already saw outlineless pics by you, I would look forward to more coloured outline styles of you, you learned many new things about 3D-touch and do especially well on small beauty details, use that skill together with your soft colouring and you'll improve even more x)
I think this is my favorite of Wendy! I hate to be blunt, but if you've seen her pics the situation kinda calls for it. Here, she's not a slut, not ugly as sin, not an angry spoiled brat. She's actually sweet and charming and well done in good taste! The guy who critiqued you might have been a bit harsh giving it only 3 1/2 stars! I'd say 4 stars minimum on all categories! The only thing I see that I would deduct any points is for the obvious lack of a backgroud which I believe was done intentionally anyways. Just add a sandy beach with waves coming in and a few beach critters and this would be quite a spectacle and would no doubt bump it up the roster!
It's interesting how the eyes are clear and "focused on". I agree with the Critique, if you could have put some sort of highlight on the bracelets, then it would have been better. It's a nice piece; I like it. I really don't have room to talk on critiqueing Koopa forms. I can't draw The Koopa Kids in their original forms. 'Tis suck-ish at it. XD
